• You must be over 18 years old (or be of legal age in your area.)
• You must not attempt to impersonate another member, administrator or some other staff member.
• You must not attempt to copy, modify or delete any part of the site without prior permission of an administrator.
• You must not provide false, outdated or misleading information, when registering to any part of our site. (We can and will check.)
• You must have a valid and working email address registered with the site at all times.
• You must log into your account once every 12 months, or it will be frozen and deleted without warning to avoid clogging of our servers.
• You must not use vulgar or offensive language in message forums, chat rooms, screen names or any other part of the site; remember children are members of this site too. I feel like leaving this on here just for kicks, though it certainly doesn't apply. (The code was written for fanfic writers)
• No exceedingly excessive swearing please.  (We'll turn a blind eye to the odd word here and there, but using Fuck in every sentence WILL result in your account being frozen).
• Do NOT take any content from the site without an administrator's permission.  This includes pictures, stories, documentation and other site content.  In most cases we will be happy to allow you to borrow pictures/content as long as any/all copyright notices are kept in place and you provide a link back to our site but please ASK FIRST.
• You must not provide a direct link to an author's story, without their prior permission. If you need help in contacting an author please ask an administrator.
• Only one account per person and no sharing of accounts please.  There is no need to as all content is available to all.

Account Termination

Failure to follow any of the terms set out in our service agreement may result in your account being frozen or deleted without warning, and you being blocked from accessing the site in future.  These rules are in place to protect everyone so please respect them.

The administration team reserve the rights to alter, freeze, delete or refuse the creation of any and all accounts with or without warning.  The same applies to all other parts of the site within our control.

Data Protection

All information collected during registration is for the effective creation and maintenance of your account only.  It will not be passed on to any third party without your express permission, unless requested to do so by law enforcement agencies/officers. We do however track IP addresses of our site members to ensure they are legitimate and are not using our site for illegal purposes.

How Your Information Will Be Used.

Your name and email address are required for successful registration, and as a way for us to contact you with information pertaining to your account and any site changes that affect you. We will not use your real name when referring to you on site unless you ask us to do so.

Your Pen Name is a nickname used to address you on site, instead of your real name to protect your identity.

Your username and password are used strictly for logging into the site, and will only be accessible by managers and administration staff.  (It is recommended that you use a unique string of numbers and letters for security purposes.)
